April 2020 Online Only Event

In April 2020 we held an online-only event during the COVID-19 pandemic to help out those charities that really needed a boost in a challenging time.

We are happy to say that we were able to raise $6,500 from our 416Cares community - thank you! 

For this event only we randomly drew three charities from those nominated and split the proceeds evenly between them as follows:

• $2,200 donated to The Assaulted Women's Helpline
• $2,150 donated to The Daily Bread Food Bank
• $2,150 donated to Covenant House

Charities Nominated

Anyone who purchased a ticket could nominate a charity, one vote for each ticket purchased.  Many Charities were nominated more than once, for example The Daily Bread Food Bank was nominated 12 times.  Here is the list of charities nominated:
